Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information AGenO ("I", "me") collects when you use agenoai.com (the "Service"), how I use it, and your choices. I aim to collect as little as possible.
My promise: AGenO does not sell or share your personal information, does not
show targeted ads or build advertising "custom audiences," and does not train AI models on your prompts or
generated content. I use no third-party advertising trackers. You can manage your choices anytime via the
"Privacy choices" link on the site.
1. Information I collect
- Account info: your email address and a securely hashed password (I never store your password in plain text). If you sign in with Google, I receive your email address only.
- Device signal: a hashed "fingerprint" of your browser/device and your IP address, used to enforce free-tier limits and prevent abuse.
- Usage data: counts of generations and which features you use, to apply quotas.
- Chat history: if you use AI Chat while signed in, your conversations are saved to your account so you can return to them. Signed-out chats are stored only in your own browser.
- Payment info: handled entirely by my payment provider (Stripe). I never see or store your card details.
2. What I do NOT store
By default, generated images and videos are streamed to you and then deleted from my systems — I don't keep a personal library of them. There are three clear exceptions, and they only happen because of something you do:
- Content you publish: if you choose to share a creation to the community feed (Explore / Community), that file is stored so others can see it — until you delete it.
- Music you generate: songs are saved to your Library so you can play them and unlock full versions — until you delete them.
- In-progress generations: a job that's still rendering is held briefly so it survives a page reload, then discarded once delivered.
Your prompts are processed only to create your output. They are never used to build a profile of you or to train AI models.
3. How I use information
- To provide the Service and your account.
- To enforce free/paid quotas and prevent abuse.
- To send essential emails (e.g., your email-verification code) via my email provider.
- To process subscriptions and upgrade your account when you pay.
4. Third-party services
I use a small set of providers to run AGenO: Cloudflare (hosting, network, security), Resend (sending verification emails), Google (optional sign-in), and Stripe (payments). Each processes limited data needed for its function under its own privacy policy. Core AI generation runs locally on my own hardware.
5. Cookies & local storage
I use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme, store signed-out chat history, and hold a device identifier for free-tier limits. I do not use third-party advertising trackers.
6. Data retention
I keep your account data (email, settings, your saved chat history, your music Library, and anything you've published) for as long as your account exists. Generated images and videos that you don't publish are not retained. A hashed device fingerprint and quota counters are kept while needed to enforce free-tier limits. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting me — see "Your rights" below.
7. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To exercise any right, email me.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and adult/NSFW features are limited to users 18+. I do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Changes
I may update this Policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly.
10. Who I am / Contact
AGenO is an independent project run by
one person — Givin Yang (based in California, United States), who is the individual responsible for your data (the "data controller"). It is not a company or a team. You can verify my identity on
LinkedIn. Privacy questions or data requests (including account deletion) go straight to me at
[email protected], and I handle them personally.
